The BlackHammer CyberPunk Project

Welcome To The Project

The Original Nav-Bar
Sept 1997 - January 1998

This was the original nav-bar, plain and simple, and not all that pretty. It had to go when I added the JACK page... I manufactured this one using Photoshop 3 and the Ulead WebExtensions filters (unregistered shareware copy which cacked out on me the next week).

The Steel Nav-Bar
January 1998 - March 1998

This nav-bar was built to highlight the new page added to the site, JACK. It also settled on four-letter words to describe each section (at the suggestion of my lovely wife). I manufactured this one using Photoshop 3. The only actual filter is the drop shadow, from Alien Skin Eye Candy 3.01. To this day it's still my favorite for texture and look.

The Giger Nav-Bar
March 1998 - April 1999

The longest-lasting Nav-Bar, the background for this one is a section of H.R.Giger's "Chelsea Cockroaches". The only change besides cosmetic was dropping LUCK from the top-bar and making it an article inside the PUNK section, and no longer highlighting the JACK page.

The NeuroChome "Bar"
April 1999 - March 2000

TOPKILLSHOPDRUGPUNKHACKJACKFLIPGO!
Less of a bar than the previous efforts, more of a "staggered listing". The Neurochrome Bar (named after the font used) introduced three new headers, HACK, FLIP and GO. Hack and Go took over all my net-based content and locations, crossover settings and corporations from the JACK and PUNK pages, and FLIP became the home to the new Flipper Is Dead homepage, here on the Project.
